What is the podcast all about?
A Broom and A Spoon is a podcast for and by Pagans with chronic illnesses. We also plan to discuss issues relevant to Pagans with mental illnesses, disabilities, and sensory processing differences.
Why A Broom?
Though the podcast is for Pagans of all types, we both started with Witchy/Wiccan-leaning beliefs and so a broom is our symbol of the Pagan faiths.
Why A Spoon?
The Spoon Theory as a disability metaphor has led to people with chronic illnesses self-defining as Spoonies and the spoon is therefore our symbol of the spectrum of chronic illnesses and disabilities.
